Tis the Season ... by C.L. Beck

Received in an email, photographer unknown.

Thanksgiving is over. It's time to drag out those tangled Christmas lights, climb on the roof and then spend hours putting them up, so that at the very end you can accidentally slide off the garage and land in the hospital.

Or ... you could do it this way. (Look at the house to the left and then the one on the right.)

Really, you gotta admire the guy's ingenuity!

Putting up Christmas lights is hazardous to your health. I loved the picture.

I love ice cream and especially when I take my daughter Brenda to have some - she shivers and is so much fun to watch. I'm also looking forward to the book launch on Dec. 9th.

That is quite a site.

There is a house in our town that must have 30 of those inflatible holiday Santas, reindeer, snowmen, etc. The kids love it as the lights are cool but the motorized Santa popping out of chimney seems to really hook them.

Holy guacamole, I won! Thanks, Cindy. That's very awesome.

And I've never had the eggnog ice cream, but their strawberry cheesecake is pretty awesome.

Please, though, no falling off the roof for you or Russ. That would be bad, bad, very bad. We have a book signing next week.

I love that picture! It's so awesome!

Now, to share my opinion. They do have really good eggnog ice cream, but my favorite seasonal flavor is the winter white. They take chocolate cherries and halfway mush them up in vanilla ice cream. It's way yum.

Oh, I'm already getting your newsletter. :)

I love that! But Steve already put up our lights and they're simple, but so much fun.

I could go for ice cream. Especially when I am stretched out in my hospital bed after hanging my Christmas lights. My 80 year old neighbor is always yelling at me to get off the roof.
