A Touching Winter Poem

Christmas is over, the lights are being taken down, the last drop of eggnog has been drained from the carton and the world is in a fine mode of blah. Realizing that, I thought you might like something to help you deal with the mid-winter jickers.

A friend sent this in an email, and it's a beautiful, well written winter poem that cheered me up. I thought it might be a comfort to you, as well.

Great poem! Should be the required length of all political speeches. Short and to the point.

It's not much fun to realize that winter started just a measly 7 days ago. Only three long months left.

No better time to sit around the fire and make up short poems.

Jickers? Jickers? You must make up words like I do. I love that one. I'll have to add it to my vocabulary.

Love the poem too.

I liked "jickers" too. I'll have to remember to make up more words in 2010, it makes life more interesting. :)

Oh, and we still have a few drips of eggnog left. Hubby will finish it off this weekend, I am sure.

Happy New Year, Cindy!
